Casting Call

Casting Call

Our client came in with a photo of her original design, red with glitter.  The additional embellishments included black sharpie marker in a variety of youthful fonts.  She liked the original, saying that the color and style suited her needs, and the support was an additional attribute that she appreciated.

Unfortunately, the original wasn't a permanent installation.  The replacement was a sorry substitute.  The client was unimpressed with the way the new model lacked color, style, glitter, and it certainly wasn't flattering.  It did not meet the client's needs whatsoever.  We went right to work on a new design.

We listened to the client's desire for high style, form, along with function.  She was very clear about her need for a look that was fresh, form fitting, and she really wanted something that could even be described as "funky."  Challenge Accepted.  We quickly went to work on the prototype.

Her new design comes complete with asymmetrical lines, a monochromatic tone, and a casual, oversized look.  The way that the light catches the angles accents both the highlights and the shadows.  This look will go straight from couch to bathroom, just like the previous model, only this time, with style.  Our customer was quite pleased with the prototype.  The final model is now in production.
